The 2022 YSC Tour de Pink Lisa J Frank Memorial is located in Long Branch, NJ, and takes place Sept 30 - Oct 2, 2022.

The safety of our riders and community is our number one priority at every TDP. YSC exists to serve a community that may be immunocompromised, so it is critical we all work together to ensure the health and safety of all attendees. Therefore, we are requiring that ALL riders show proof of completion of  their COVID-19 vaccine series or a negative test result that is within 5 days of the ride. 

Early-bird registration is $75 for 2-day riders and $50 for 1-day riders until June 6, 2022. The  registration fee after that is $100.  Registration fees are non-refundable, non-transferable and do not count towards a participant’s fundraising minimum.

Yes, all 2-day riders commit to raising $3,000 to support the young breast cancer community through Young Survival Coalition, the largest nonprofit dedicated exclusively to providing education, support and community to young adults impacted by breast cancer.  One-day riders commit to raising $750, and their registration and fundraising commitment does not include hotel.

Once you reach your fundraising minimum, the registration fee provides amenities during the ride including branded jersey, YSC Tour de Pink t-shirt, printed bib, pre-ride snacks, fully stocked rest stops. See Event Details for more information.

Yes.  In the event of dangerous conditions (i.e. lightning, flooding, etc.) we will delay or cancel the event as appropriate.

Yes. You must be 18 years or older to ride in TDP. Unfortunately, anyone under the age of 18 will not be allowed to ride even if they have registered.

This year the YSC Tour de Pink returns to the original ride route format.  Day 1 will feature a 100-mile Century and a 62-mile metric century. The rides start together regardless of which distance you chose.  The metric cut-off is well marked.

Sunday will be an approximately 40-mile ride.  The shorter distance will allow everyone ample time to get back to enjoy the festivities at the finish.

The 2022 Tour de Pink routes are relatively flat along the Jersey shore.  Remember, YSC Tour de Pink is a RIDE, not a race. This means you should ride at your own pace. Time will not be kept, nor are any prizes awarded for finishing first.   HOWEVER, regardless of the flat terrain riding 100 or 62 miles is a challenge.  You should plan on an 11-12 mph pace.  The ride services close by 5:00 pm on Saturday which give everyone ample time to ride (have fun and enjoy) but still be back for dinner and socializing. 

 Even without timed routes, all cyclists should train before participating.  Refer to All Things Bikes for training information.

No, this is not a timed event.

YES! Helmets are required for every bike route. Riders will not be allowed to participate without a helmet. 

Yes.  Class 1 and 2 only.

No, tri-bars are not permitted at TDP rides.

During the ride, there will be 1-3 rest stops depending on the length of your route. Rest stops are prepared with food and beverage, as well as mechanical and medical assistance. The routes are well marked with event signage.  SAG vans (support and gear vehicles) will also patrol the route to provide assistance, if necessary. Law enforcement will work to ensure rider safety on the road.  

Yes, we will have both ride marshals and SAG vans (support and gear vehicles) to assist while you are out on the road. 

Yes! Registration and fundraising commitment for 2-day riders includes two nights at Ocean Place Resort and Spa on the beach in Long Branch, NJ.      

Yes! Ride appropriate snacks (bars, fruit etc.) and beverages (water, sports drink) will be available before, during and after the ride. We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions, but if you have very specific dietary requirements we suggest bringing your own snacks. 

Breakfast and lunch are provided on Oct 1 and Oct 2 for both 2-day and 1-day riders. Dinner on Oct 1 is provided for 2-day riders.

Yes! Additional meals can be purchased as the event gets closer. We’ll send out a notification once meal tickets are available to purchase.

Begin fundraising as soon as possible to reach your fundraising goal. Once you have registered you will have access to your customized fundraising page which allows you to tell donors why you are participating.

We have different sponsorship levels available to fit your needs. Email corporate@youngsurvival.org to inquire about sponsorship opportunities.

You can make a donation in multiple ways. Go to ysctourdepink.org and click DONATE. In the search box, enter the TDP rider’s name whose campaign you’d like to donate to. Then choose your amount and enter the required information.

Yes! Participant donations are tax deductible. If the donation was made online, you should receive an email acknowledging your donation immediately. Donors who mail a check will receive an acknowledgement letter in the mail.

Your information is safe! Donor information will not be sold to third parties, though may be used by the Young Survival Coalition, which is the organization hosting the ride. Refer to YSC’s Privacy Policy for more information.
