Dear Friends and Family, (Please feel free to pass along to others)

As you all know, 2020 was a difficult year for all of us, and many fundraising events were cancelled. We did have a virtual fundraiser for the Tour de Pink ride, but it obviously paled in comparison to prior years’ efforts.

It’s been 2 years since the TdP community has been able to ride together, but we’re riding again in 2021 and I couldn’t be more excited!

There are a few changes to this year’s ride. It will be a 1-day event, and the ride has been renamed the YSC Tour de Pink Lisa J Frank Memorial Ride in honor of co-founder and young survivor Lisa J Frank. Despite these changes, the Tour de Pink community remains as close and dedicated as ever.

I have committed to again raise funds for the Young Survival Coalition Tour de Pink Lisa J Frank Memorial Ride. This year will be my 17th (East) and 18th (West) rides, not counting the virtual ride last year. I have been logging lots of miles since the new year!

I am asking for sponsorship of the following activities:
🔲 Ride Virtually for 12 hours (On trainer in basement)
🔲 Sponsor miles cycled for a month (July, August, September, October)
🔲 30 miles for 30 days – outside and inside miles when needed!
🔲 You define the ride!
🔲 Donation and I get to take a break!

Let me know, I'll get it done for your donation! ❤️🚲

Tour de Pink (TdP) is a three-day, 200-mile bike ride that raises funds for Young Survival Coalition (YSC) and young adults affected by breast cancer nationwide. Read more at Approximately 30% of participants at each TdP ride are breast cancer survivors, and Tour de Pink is more than just a ride for them, it’s an empowering experience to reconnect with their bodies after cancer treatment.

Young breast cancer survivors often face economic hardship because of lack of access to comprehensive health insurance as well as steep medical costs associated with a breast cancer diagnosis. Young survivors are often burdened by student loan debt, are less established in their careers, and lack savings.

All of these challenges result in economic hardship that can prevent a young survivor from being able to buy a bike to ride in Tour de Pink.

Established in 1998, Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is the largest nonprofit dedicated exclusively to young adults diagnosed with breast cancer age 40 and under and their co-survivor support networks. YSC also educates and influences the medical, research and legislative communities to address breast cancer in young adults.

Through educational resources and programming, annual conferences, and local and online support networks, YSC ensures no young adult faces breast cancer alone. For more information, visit
