Tour de Pink strives to make our routes accessible to all ability levels. In addition to providing the shorter and longer route distances you see below, we also provide SAG vans for technical support (such as if you get a flat), and "Hopper" vans whose sole purpose is giving riders and their bikes a lift between rest stops. This means you can use the Hopper to cut out mileage (such as using the Hopper to get from Rest Stop 2 to 3) and ride a shorter amount of miles.

The 2020 YSC Tour de Pink East Ride will prove to be an historic event in 2 senses: historic accomplishments by the riders and a tour of the rich history of our great nation.

Day 1: Central Princeton Circuit (62 or 100 miles)
Friday will provide the option of a metric century (62 miles) and an imperial century (100 miles) route through central New Jersey. The 100 mile route will have less than 2,700 feet of elevation gain over the entire 100 miles! Experienced cyclists would define this as flat, while beginners may consider it an achievable challenge. The route will go through historic Rocky Hill and areas where Revolutionary soldiers encamped. The general scenery will demonstrate why NJ is called the Garden State.

Day 2: Northwest Princeton Circuit (40 or 66 miles)
Saturday is the crown jewel, possibly the most scenic route you will encounter. Leaving our encampment at the Crowne Plaza, we pass nearby Princeton Battlefield, and cross the Delaware at the same spot Washington crossed on his way to Trenton. We then go upriver to New Hope where Washington and General Greene planned their strategy. We cross back and face the hotel in Stockton frequented by Oscar Hammerstein, supposedly giving him some of the inspiration for writing “Oklahoma”. Then we ride along Wickecheoke Creek to the Green-Sergeant covered bridge, the oldest in NJ, continuing through farmland and pass by Larison’s Corner Church (1749—rebuilt 1817) back to Princeton to complete the day. The full route is 66 miles, while a shorter route option will be approximately 40 miles.

Day 3: Princeton to Jersey Shore (47 miles)
Sunday is a short route from the Crowne Plaza in Princeton to the Jersey shore, where we will have a catered lunch and celebrate all riders as they cross the finish line. It is a flat and easy ride to celebrate the new friendships and solidification of old ones. The finale celebration is right on the beach at Jenkinson’s Inlet in Point Pleasant.
