Route

The 2018 edition of the Tour de Pink East will celebrate the 20th year of YSC with a 3-day adventure on the largest and longest island in the United States. Long Island, NY, is 118 miles long and 23 miles wide and in its history includes the take-off site for Charles Lindbergh for his 1927 transAtlantic flight.

Our tour begins starting in Hauppauge with the Century and Metric options that loop around the island’s North Fork scenic rural roads and vineyards visiting Rocky Point Pine Barrens State Park near Long Island Sound.

On day 2 we traverse the island from north to south going through Amityville using the Bethpage bike path to famous Jones Beach on the Atlantic Ocean before returning to Hauppauge.

On the third day we ride to the finale along the Gold Coast before finishing at Sunken Meadow State Park on Long Island Sound for the much deserved celebration.

Ride totals: 218 miles. 6,500 feet elevation
